We have adapted your company profile visibility for mobiles. It has been adjusted to make your offer available from phones and other mobile devices.
New notifications settings will help you easily manage which and when notifications make alerts that you can chose to interact with. Just set watched elements and frequency of notifications and be up to date.
We made creation of RFP faster and easier. We added the timeline to show you at what stage of the process you are.
Stage 1. Create RFP
We shortened the RFP form and currently there is only one step to fulfil before its publication. In addition there are advanced options, as first delivery date or additional language of RFP, but they are not mandatory.
Stage 2. Offer collection and comparison
In one place you collect and compare all received offers by verifying key elements of received offers. Choose the best offer or continue negotiations.
Stage 3. Negotiations
With RFP-extra time or purchase auction you can gain better offer conditions. This stage is not required but by using its options you can gain more savings.
Stage 4. Finalization
At this stage you finalize your purchasing process and have possibility to place order and pass to payment.
From now on you can create requests for proposal from companies’ profiles no matter if registered or not. If you choose to create an RFP from the company not registered on ALEO (company from KRS), our Client Support and Sourcing Team will contact this company and try to get an offer.
In addition you can add other Suppliers to your RFP. Hereby you can invite more than 400 thousands companies to your RFP.
In one place you decide in which categories through which keywords you are interested in. Just click on settings icon (right top of the page)>settings and notification settings. Then add new watched categories and keywords to be notified about if new events are published on Aleo.
We added new section to My Office view:
1. My active and not finished RFPs - is a section with all of your requests for proposal that are not finished yet,
2. Public tenders - is a section with all tenders published within categories and keywords you have defined as watched.
On Aleo with the new public tender functionality you are able to find current public tenders originally published on: The Official Journal Supplement - Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) website, Polish Public Procurement Office or Official Journal of the Republic of Poland. We daily update this database and you can categorize your notification set to be up-to-date. By using settings (at the right top of the website) you can choose interesting categories and narrow the search by keywords. system will send notifications about new public tenders within chosen categories and keywords.
This new promotional service will be available for free till the end of the current year - 31.12.2015 r. By the end of the promotional period the service will be automatically turned off on your account with no charges. You can turn it on again at any time, by using your account settings.
If you are interested in receiving public tender notifications within chosen categories and keywords just after logging in to Aleo chose Settings (at right top of the website), Notification settings and categorize your notification system.
Currently this functionality is available as beta feature and enabled for the selected group of users who will be provided with more details in a separate email.
On Aleo you can find all companies registered in the National Court Register. By using KRS data, we have also completed the profiles of all Aleo companies. This change makes your contractors research easier and faster. We update all suppliers data continually and daily.
In addition, to ease our users making business on Aleo we created a visual presentation of companies’ connections. Users can also download documents excerpt from KRS.
We have an innovative solution to support suppliers. We enable database to store, control and manage documents and contracts made with partners. With the supplier contract management feature you can add new documents (contracts, agreements, invoices etc.), link them to your business partners, determine who signed them and due date, as the system could send you notification about the expiry date. This is the right way to control effectively your documentation flow.
You can compare all received offers in one place. Just click on RFP’s details and „See extended comparison”. You can filter components which you want to compare, sort results according to the expected price, export the comparison table to the pdf file.
If you need to complete or perform further negotiations, just click on “Extra time”, set the new deadline and invite other suppliers. All received offers will be transferred to the new RFP.
With this functionality you can increase the effectiveness of your market research.
How to become more visible on Aleo? How to be verified and active supplier?
Active companies, that place offers are more visible among Suppliers base. In addition they gain an “Active Supplier” badge and this is the way to become the potential and searchable supplier.
You will be up to date with all new business opportunities related to categories you are interested in. We will notify you of all new RFPs and Auctions bounded up with chosen categories and you will be able to react using action buttons from My office section.
We will share with you information about public tenders published on the following websites: Public Procurement Office (Urząd Zamówień Publicznych), Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union TED (Suplement do Dziennika Urzędowego Unii Europejskiej (TED), or Official Journal (Monitor Urzędowy). Currently this function is available as the beta version and includes a selected range of public tenders.
In the search bar on the main page, you can find public tenders within categories you are interested in.
On Aleo you will find information on companies registered in the KRS - National Court Register. By using these information as the company employee, you can activate the KRS company profile on Aleo. With this function the registration process is faster and it is easier to find new contractors and invite them to your contact list.

Generation of requests for proposals has never been quicker or easier. There’s a new functional on the platform now - creation of an RFP based an existing one. Why don’t you benefit from the experience of others? If you want to create an RFP and you found a similar one in Aleo, published earlier, you may - on that basis - come up with your own professional RFP. Any RFP created in that manner will come with the basic information (e.g. subject or specification) filled out.
Aleo makes it easier to invite firms to an RFP. At the last stage, we suggest companies that are worth inviting. The companies are suggested on the basis of the RFP category and the product or service being sought. So, if a given company offers what you’re looking for in the same category, it will be suggested.
Aleo may inform you of interesting business opportunities. Indicate a category you are interested in.
- While a new category is being added to those under observation, you may - at the same time - set up observations, questions, purchase and sale auctions in that category:
We have added a new group in the notification settings - “New enquiries and auctions in the observed categories”.
In the “New enquiries and auctions in the observed categories” group, the system will notify you of new enquiries and auctions in purchase categories that you observe:
a) each time you add an enquiry or auction in a given category (with the e-mail notification option set up for “Each time” - it’s a default setting for all Aleo users);
b) as a joint notification summarizing the auctions and enquiries in observed categories (with the e-mail notification option set up for “Once a day” or “Once a week”)
You may configure your notifications any time. Just go to My Desk, select your name and Notification settings.
We have made it possible to automatically update prices and product/service availability in Aleo. All you have to do is make the xml file with products/services available at your www site, and Aleo will download it automatically for update (availability and price). The file is downloaded daily at about 2 pm.
We’ve simplified VAT rate specification for products and services. Now you may define VAT when placing an offer or creating a product. If you use file import, you can also put the VAT rate in the xml file.
What’s more, we have added the annotation “+VAT” for products and services visible in the catalogue. If the seller has specified the VAT rate, it will be visible when an order is being placed.
We have improved the method of creating and editing service/product descriptions in a catalogue. While it’s being created, the system will automatically notify you of:
- the fields which need to be filled out,
- the level of data provision (33%, 66%, 100%).

If you select a currency different that the one your product is being sold with, the system will automatically show you the likely price in your currency (the platform calculates currencies on the basis of the ECB rate).
Translation of searched phrases - it’ll be easier to find products/services made available in a language other than Polish. You won’t need a dictionary to find them. All you have to do is enter the word you are interested in, and the system will search through the catalogue, taking into account any variation in each language handled by the platform.
The platform address has been changed from aleo.pl to aleo.com. Regardless of the address you use (aleo.pl or aleo.com), you’ll be using the same platform.
So far, the assessments of transactions were made in a descriptive way and were first seen by the company that received them and after that the company could decide whether or not to publish a rating. The newly developed system allows both parties of the transaction, after the completion of the contract, to assess/grade their business partner by answering the following question: „How likely are you to recommend this contractor?”
Users responding to this question, evaluate the business partner with the use of a scale from 1 to 10 points, and if they wish they can also add a descriptive comment. The average, which is calculated from the sum of credits for the purchase and sale, will be presented on the public profile of the company, if it has a minimum of 3 assessments. Only transactions made on Aleo will be evaluated by both parties. The reputation increase will make the profile more attractive and encourage new customers to cooperate. The opportunity for the assessed company to decide whether to publish the comments or not has been discarded and currently all comments and grades will appear on the public profile of the company.
The Aleo platform is now available in two languages - English and Polish.
This allows you to:
- add additional English product descriptions,
- set notifications in English - the notification language on the platform can be set independently of the language currently used by the interface.
We have replaced the standard drop-down list in Purchases, Sales, Company and Payments bookmarks with tiles that streamline the operation.
We have simplified the view of the section My office and replaced an information panel into quick links. This allows you to quickly and comfortably navigate the system.
We have introduced the possibility of editing and adding comments to the posts in the News published by other companies.
If you have a business account at ING Bank Śląski, you can settle the transactions on Aleo in a simple and rapid way, using direct deposit. By choosing this payment option for a given transaction, you will be automatically redirected to the appropriate online banking system of ING Bank (ING BankOnLine or INGBusinessOnLine). It is enough that you confirm the transfer which will be completed with the counterparty and transaction data.
We have expanded the functionality of the directory inquiry. Now you can import the xml files containing more than one image of the product.
