Safe Aleo, a compendium

1. FIRST OF ALL, ALWAYS CHECK!

What needs to be done to ensure that transactions made with available tools in the Aleo platform are safe?

If you can, select only verified Aleo users.

All unverified companies are marked out in grey.

Before you make any offer in response to an RFP (request for proposal) or auction, get to know the details of the request and purchase terms specified by the organizer. It’s a good practice to make sure your potential counterparty does not have any negative opinions in the internet and is reliable. You may check that quickly entering the company’s name in any search engine and looking through the displayed results. If in doubt, contact the author of the request/auction.

How to ensure safety of purchase/sale transactions?

  • Become familiar with all the info on safety, posted in the Aleo platform.
  • Make sure the Aleo site you’re visiting is encrypted with a https protocol and there’s a padlock symbol in the browser window.
  • Read opinions about the seller. You’ll find them after logging into the counterparty’s profile, in the Company Reputation tab.
  • Get to know all the details of the offered product so that you know what you’re about to buy.
  • If it is your first transaction with a new counterparty, remember you may use a “Cash On Delivery” option.
  • Before you pay for the goods, call the seller and verify the bank account number. Use the phone no. given on the site.
  • Before you make any advance payment or prepayment, make sure all terms and conditions defined by the Seller are acceptable for you.
  • Make use of the counterparty’s own verification methods.

2. SECOND OF ALL, DO NOT MAKE ANY TRANSACTIONS OUTSIDE THE ALEO PLATFORM!

If there are any problems with the order, neither transaction nor counterparty data will be traceable in Aleo, so we won’t be able to help you.

Please bear in mind that the Aleo Platform Rules lay down principles according to which transactions should be made.

3. IF THERE WAS ANYTHING RAISING YOUR DOUBTS, CONTACT AS AT support@aleo.com

Please bear in mind that Aleo, not being a party to transactions made in the Platform, cannot be an arbitrator in the event of disagreements between users. Aleo spares no pains to help users who have been cheated by their counterparties, trying to ensure their rights are protected.

If you can’t come to terms with your counterparties, please contact the Aleo Platform administrator, using the Report abuse from, or write to support@aleo.com.

Be ready to describe the situation in detail and send all the necessary documents such as:

  • company name, tax identification number, phone and address of the counterparty,
  • Abuse description and evidence: date, hour, auction number, transaction amount, confirmation of payment, printouts of complete contents of correspondence with the seller, description of the object, printout of negative opinions on the user transactions.

We also suggest you contact the police.
