"SPÓJNIA" Hodowla i Nasiennictwo Ogrodnicze Sp. Z o. O. With its registered office in Nochów is a breeding and seed company with almost 100 years of tradition, owned 100% by the Agricultural Property Agency. We mainly deal with creative and conservative farming of vegetable plants, seed production and packaging and sale of vegetable seeds, flowers and herbs.

Our mission is the consistent implementation of pro-quality policy in the interests of product quality and customer satisfaction as well as a positive image of the company. Using the experience that goes back to 1917 and modern state-of-the-art technologies and plant breeding techniques, we strive to obtain the highest quality products. Variations bred by us have features sought after by different groups of recipients and are adapted to the climatic and soil conditions of our country and the countries of our climate zone.

"Spójnia" is a one-company enterprise operating within three adjacent towns: Nochowa, Kadzewa and Międzychód. We operate on the basis of the following organizational units: Department of Breeding, Laboratory, Department of Trade and Marketing, Department of Economics and Administration Department.

DEPARTMENT OF BREEDING

In its structure, it is divided into plant workshops: legumes (peas, green and multigrain bean beans, broad beans, lentils), cucurbits (ground cucumber, cucumber under cover, and other plants: fennel, lettuce), root plants (beetroot, carrots, parsley), onion and crumb (onion, chives, radishes). Our main goal here is to create varieties that will bring income to the Company. Such varieties are characterized by the ability to deliver a high yield of good quality, high healthiness and exceptional characteristics preferred by recipients. To meet this condition, we are looking for new crosswords for both established and heterosis varieties, we introduce resistance to fungal and bacterial diseases to varieties, we determine the content of chemical compounds through laboratory tests that shape good product quality, improve processingability, contribute to improvement human health and are characterized by high taste and aesthetic values. Thanks to our specialists in the field of breeding, Spójnia offers its customers many new products every year.

LABORATORY

In addition to traditional breeding, the Company also uses the latest techniques supporting breeding - such as, for example, invitro or molecular research carried out in the Biotechnology Laboratory. It was possible in him to shorten the breeding work in such species as onions, cucumber, carrots and radishes. The chemistry laboratory has also made it possible to conduct more advanced breeding of immune culture of such vegetables as: cucumber or beans. In addition, chemical analyzes are carried out there, work on new methods of refining vegetable seeds (parsley, carrots, onions), treatments that increase the germination capacity and accelerate the emergence of plants (hydropriming). The Seed Evaluation Laboratory deals with the quality of seed. It should be noted that the laboratory operating in the company has the status of an authorized laboratory with the right to issue certificates of sowing value,

TRADE AND MARKETING DEPARTMENT

Department of Trade

The task of the Trade Department is broadly understood customer service and coordination of the whole process of selling vegetable seeds, flowers and herbs. The company's offer is directed both at the amateur market and the market of producers and processors, while the main distribution channel of "Spójnia" products are wholesalers and large Garden Centers located throughout the country. The employees of the Trade Department are always available to help with the selection of varieties and information about the current commercial offer.

Marketing Department

The task of the Marketing Department is wide-ranging activities related to the promotion of the company and its products. The employees of the department are involved in the preparation of information and promotion materials such as leaflets, brochures, catalogs as well as all promotional materials supporting promotional campaigns - m / other displays or advertising banners. The employees of the marketing department together with breeders also participate in various trade fairs and exhibitions as well as "Open Days" organized for producers and processors, where individual varieties bred in "Spójnia" are presented on demonstration plots. Usually, such meetings are accompanied by a thematic lecture.

ECONOMIC DEPARTMENT

Plant production

Plant production includes the production of cereals and rape as well as forage plants for the feeding of cattle and sheep. Every year, we grow about 300 ha of winter wheat intended for consumption with high qualitative parameters, as well as approx. 70 ha of rapeseed and fodder maize and plants for green fodder and silage.

Animal production.

- cattle - in the 100 stool cowshed there is a production in the direction of dairy cattle breeding in black and white HF. Average yield per cow is around 7,500 liters per year.

- sheep - Merino sheep interbreed with the Romanian sheep to increase fertility and with the sheep of the meat breed in order to achieve better weight increments. A flock of sheep with 380 mothers, with a focus on breeding lambs for export to Italy - about 550 pieces a year. Sheep farmed in the "Spójnia" company have the highest fertility rate in Poland - 171%.
