We have been dealing with Lean Management for over 15 years. We started in 1999 with the cooperation with the University of Kentucky as part of the activities initially conducted at the Wrocław University of Technology. There, we also established the Lean Manufacturing Program, creating in Wrocław the Technology Transfer Center the first comprehensive comprehensive offer of training and consulting services in the field of Lean Manufacturing. In 2002, we established close cooperation with the Lean Enterprise Institute in the USA.
In order to meet the growing needs of the market, in 2006 we established Lean Enterprise Institute Poland (LEI Polska) maintaining continuity of cooperation with hundreds of existing industrial and service clients. In the same year, the Lean Enterprise Institute Polska Publishing House was founded, specializing in the publishing of practical textbooks on Lean Management.
In 2007, we became a founding member of the international Lean Global Network ( www.leanglobal.org ), currently associating 18 leading centers located on six continents, dealing with the promotion of Lean Management topics in key industrial regions around the world. Since 2009, we participate in research programs that aim to develop innovative management methods that draw on the Lean Management philosophy. For 12 years we have been serving the Lean Management community in Poland, using the principles and methods we propagate in the practice of our own operations.
To fulfill our mission, we spread and develop the latest knowledge about Lean Management and help organizations transform and continuously improve by offering:
Lean Enterprise Institute Polska has received a number of prestigious awards and distinctions, including Dolnośląski Gryfa - the most prestigious Economic Award in Lower Silesia - four times the European Medal, three times Lower Silesian Economic Certificate, and the title of Ambassador of the Polish Economy.
