mafia!! be aware ! they are hunting for foreign tourists going from.central station to Airport or hotel.
guy removed his TAXI sign and put it to the back of the car and no taxi meter but only some kind of apli on his phone.

the fact that police is not doing anything to eliminating that précédent at main train station is scandalous!

same here. charged 360 zl for a ride from Central station to a hotel near the airport. I have not noticed the fixed fee 250 in addition to a regular metered fee so i had to pay.... Scam!!

Just charged me 445,00PLZ for a ride from Warsaw Central Train Station to Warsaw Chopin Airport. Usually the fare is 45.00PLZ-100.00PLZ. The taxi drivers at the station directed me to this guy when I asked for a taxi. In saw it was a limo and I asked, regular taxi with regular fare, and the driver (very short haired muscular guy) said yes. The "taryff" said 75.00PLZ once we started, and halfway through the ride I saw 100.00PLZ additional charge due to route. Somehow at the end he changed it to 445.00PLZ total. I was about to miss my flight so I had no choise but to pay. Polish police have no way to submit online report (for tourists who fall to these scams). Such a same for this country and for the taxi industry.

Beware of scammers!!! The details of this company are online! For a trip from the Warsaw Central railway station to the Warsaw Wschodnia railway station, they charged me 360 zlotys. They assured me that they have a standard fee, according to the meter.
