Wzgórze Zamkowe "- a municipal institution established by the councilors decision on May 19, 2011, which officially inaugurated its operations on June 22, 2012, at 3 Zamkowa Street.

Wzgórze Zamkowe is a place conducive to the development of education and creativity of Kielce citizens and visitors. Wzgórze Zamkowe is a fragment of the most beautiful place of old Kielce. It is surrounded by pearls of Kielce architecture and, as if for a rest from the rush of material wealth - a small but extremely charming city park. On the one hand, the WZ is adjacent to the wonderful Baroque Cathedral with its almost one-thousand-year history and the Palace of Cracow Bishops concealing the treasures of the National Museum, on the other hand with the vibrant artistic House of Creative Communities and the first secular Gallery of Sacred Art in Poland.

The Castle Hill was joined by two historical and educational institutions, as well as cultural and artistic institutions. The first part of Wzgórze is occupied by the Center of Patriotic and Civic Thought - a place of permanent historical exhibition designed by Mirosław Nizio, creator of, among others, Museum of the Warsaw Uprising. OMPiO is a space for education, but also a discussion on the subject of civic education, defining Polish patriotism. The second part is the Institute of Design Kielce - a new design center that, through its own creative activities, as well as cooperation with Polish and international design centers, will shape sensitivity in design matters. Wzgórze Zamkowe is the only institution in the country where the past blends with the future, where ID_Kielce and OMPiO, developing their own programs, try to seek agreement in an ongoing dialogue about our present.
