The Industrial Automotive Institute (PIMOT) is a research institute supervised by the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology. The object of the Institute's activity is to carry out scientific research and development works in the field of motorization.
The mission of the Industrial Automotive Institute is to provide Polish entrepreneurs (mainly from the transport, fuel and renewable energy sectors) with strong scientific and research support in the process of product improvement and their introduction to global markets. PIMOT provides substantive support for state administration bodies implementing strategic goals related to transport safety, environmental protection and ensuring energy security of the country.

Our offer is directed to companies, manufacturers and importers of vehicles, teams and their parts, technical universities, companies from the SME sector, state administration units, non-governmental organizations, people with disabilities.

The main scope of our activity is:

- conducting scientific research and development works,

- adapting the results of scientific research and development work to the needs of the practice,

- implementation of the results of scientific research and development works, in the field of technical and natural sciences and biotechnology.

We also conduct and organize scientific conferences, seminars, trainings, training courses including driving lessons, driving courses for people with disabilities, as well as specialized training and various forms of lifelong learning.
