Each batch of extruded oil is analyzed by scientists from the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz. The tradition of cold pressing is long and appreciated in antiquity. Technology has not changed over the years, but in recent years significant progress has been made in this area. Popular oils from rapeseed, soy, sunflower or maize have taken root for a long time, permanently in industry, and products from these oilseeds are widely used not only in the food industry. Mostly vegetable oils are used as edible fats, cosmetic preparations or therapeutic agents. The best quality of all oils, they show cold pressed oils, they are a rich source of essential fatty acids (EFAs), mainly from the Omega-3, Omega-6 or Omega-9 groups. They also contain large deposits of bioactive substances, such as: tocopherols, sterols, hydrocarbons (squalene), carotenoids and many others that show significant health benefits. Cold pressed oils, due to the content of the above ingredients, have obtained health-promoting properties and are classified as functional foods.
