Podlasie Passive Building Center Ltd. is an enterprise established in February 2008 at the initiative of Mr. Krzysztof Marek Gryc, entrepreneur and economist. Since the end of March 2008, the company has been the coordinator of the Podlasie Passive Building Cluster. Its main activity began in 2014, due to earlier work oriented towards researching and analyzing the passive and energy-saving construction market, among others, implementing from 2012 the project number WND-POIG.05.01.00-00-016 / 12 pt. "Innovative technology of intelligent energy-saving, passive and zero-energy construction as a chance to strengthen the competitiveness of the Podlasie Passive Building Cluster". Today, he is engaged in full-scale production of prefabricated buildings, and the company's mission is the development of sustainable construction in Eastern Poland.
The main scope of activity of the Podlasie Passive Building Center is production based on two highly mechanized technological lines:
In addition, the company provides consultancy, analysis and design services for wooden structures through the design and research department.
Employees of the company is a team built of young specialists and experienced management staff. Among others, people employed in PCBP are people connected with science, who develop while working and conducting research at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Białystok University of Technology. Currently, the company employs 10 specialists constituting the core and starting point for further development. A strong team is a guarantee of success on the dynamically changing construction market, unconventional and innovative ideas introduce a new quality and create a strong competition in the form of the Podlasie Passive Building Center.
The enterprise as part of the EU project was equipped with the previously mentioned two production lines. The wooden structure production line is based on machines such as the Hundegger Speed Cut 3 multi-purpose saw, a complete WEINMANN skeletal wall production line comprising two butterfly tables and an automatic nail bridge with three working heads, and a 30T press for modeling truss girders for barbed plates. The above machines allow for the production of 50 complete houses annually with the work system of one eight-hour work shift, and individually designed roof structures with a total area of about 10,000 m2. The equipment of the production hall allows for complete finishing of prefabricated walls, depending on the client's needs in all installations and interior finishing elements. The machine park is topped by a MAN truck with a semitrailer and a self-propelled crane with a lifting capacity of 25T.
The woodwork production line is based on a number of devices supplied by MURAT, while production is based on profiles delivered by Blyweert Aluminum and the SAPA Building System. High mechanization of production, automation and optimization of projects allows us to produce the highest quality external and internal aluminum joinery, which distinguishes us from the market.
The Podlasie Passive Building Center is also a well-organized production, which is confirmed by the certification processes carried out and the Factory Production Control.
Thanks to the coordination of the Podlasie Passive Construction Cluster, the company has gained many technological and commercial partners, and incorporating the mission of the company conducts trainings, actively participates in fairs and conferences, building consumer awareness of sustainable energy-saving construction.
