Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Odpadami Sp. z oo in Sosnowiec was established to use the municipality's own tasks to satisfy the needs of residents in the field of municipal waste management. The assets of the budgetary unit Municipal Waste Storage Plant were contributed to the Company. The company changed its name from Miejski Zakład Składowania Odpadów Sp. z oo on Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Odpadami Sp. z oo and was initiated in connection with the need to adapt the name to the current profile of our activity.

The main purpose of the activity of MPGO Sp. z o. o. is meeting the needs of the residents of the city of Sosnowiec in the area of comprehensive waste management, including:

· Waste treatment,

· Recovery of secondary raw materials,

· Storage of unsuitable waste,

· Performing other tasks, in accordance with the plant's capabilities and technical equipment.

The activities of our company are in line with the idea of recycling and treating waste as resources intended for the most effective use, and all elements of the Plant allow the management of municipal waste in compliance with the highest European standards.
