In modern times, zinc is applied to steel also in a different way, through: galvanization, thermodiffusion and metallization. Relatively recently, in 1980, a method of applying this metal to the cold was created, which significantly expanded the field of this element in anti-corrosive activity. This effect was achieved thanks to the zinc gasification technology, which produces zinc dust when brought into the structural state. The microscopic elements of zinc, which has a purity of 99.99%, are combined with various chemical substances to form a liquid suspension. When combined with the described solutions, cold zinc is formed which surpasses the properties of ordinary plasters. Chemicals surrounding the Nano zinc dust particles formed from gasified zinc, protect the zinc particles with their chemical properties. Other solders are without protection against corrosive agents and if we want to protect them we use DUPLEX which generates additional costs. It should be noted here that the cold zinc after gasification has anodic properties and cathode metal. In contact with each other, they create a specific energy binding them with their adversities and not resins and chemical fillers. Both in solution and after applying to metal, every molecule, despite being bound to metal and creating from millions of particles, remains independent. Stuck in micro metal or on its surface, it has a similar temperature to metal, it works in shrinkage or diastole with metal. The self-contained particle has the ability to undergo cycles of contraction and diastole metals formed at temperature changes, therefore its surface never breaks. In this form, the cold zinc can be applied by spraying with a brush or roller, without the need to warm up the element. Applied zinc passively protects the metal against corrosion, isolating it from environmental influences. Application is possible inside and outside the facility at - 15 ° + 40 ° and 90% humidity, creating an anti-corrosive protection of steel structures and structures used in atmospheric conditions of all macro-climatic regions, types of atmosphere, category and location. as well as in the renovation of zinc metallic coatings made in various ways: hot-dip galvanizing, metallization, metal coating, galvanic application.

The coating of cold zinc is resistant to fresh and sea water, aqueous salt solutions (pH = 6.0-9.0), ethyl alcohol and its aqueous solutions. Applied zinc passively protects the metal against corrosion, isolating it from environmental influences.

Such a system is used to protect against corrosion ® tanks and other devices in a centralized system (cold) supplied with drinking water inside.
