The Commune Public Library in Koczale dates back to 1948, when Leokadia Wadowska, with a collection of only 130 volumes, created a library in Koczale in a private apartment. Since this local initiative, we have repeatedly changed our headquarters, constantly raising the standard of equipment, and our collection has grown to almost 14,000.
In its structures, the Library also has the "Knowledge" Computer Reading Room in Bielsko operating as a library point two days a week. Our biggest advantages are care for the needs of the reader and a young team full of new ideas. We organize classes for children, teenagers and adults, especially seniors. We constantly help visitors at computer workstations. Children who come to us can not only play computer games, but also take advantage of the corner with art materials and board games.
We love books and the people who love them the most.
