Bochnia commune is one of the most interesting rural communes in Małopolska.
It consists of 31 beautifully situated towns, several of which have a rich, nearly a thousand-year history. Medieval documents and historic objects preserved to this day are testimony to it. Numerous traditions and traditions are a natural bridge between the past and present of Bochnia.
The Bochnia commune is, above all, the present day, characterized by ambitious initiatives of the residents and the consistent operation of the local government. The effect of this is, among others an honorable place in the Golden Hundred of Polish Municipalities and the multiple distinction of self-government in the country for activities conducive to environmental protection and sports investments.
Well-developed technical infrastructure, a dense network of schools, kindergartens of health centers, day-care centers and libraries, and even one of the few in Poland, a covered swimming pool, make the Bochnia community friendly to residents as well as more and more guests.
The chances for further development of the commune are its geographical location (only 30 km from Krakow) with international communication routes (PKP, E-4 road and A-4 motorway) and favorable conditions for potential investors. An important development factor is also the huge geothermal brine resources occurring here.
