We would like to briefly present our company whose name "Tarnów" Fabryka Maszyn appeared in autumn 2010.

Fabryka Maszyn "Tarnów" was involved in the production of metalworking machines, among others lathes TUJ-380MF, TUJ-380CNC, TUJ-560M, TUJ-630M, TUJ-560MEF, TUJ-630MEF and grinding machines for RUP280 shafts and holes. The company also provided maintenance services and sale of spare parts for older types of lathes TUB-25, TUB-32, TUJ-48, TUJ-50, TUJ-50M, TKX-50N and grinders RUP-28 and ROPA16.

The production also included the production of tools, instrumentation and services, repairs of machinery and equipment, as well as the production of lathes licensed by the German company GDW LZ-250, LZ-360, LZ-400.

The next stage in the history of FMT was the takeover of the company by a foreign investor, who became the English group 600 GROUP PLC-UK, which is the owner of the well-known Colchester-Harrison machine tool consortium. The production of a wide range of Colchester-Harrison products, such as lathes M300 / Student, Master, Triumph, Mascot, Mastiff, Alpha sold in the extensive distribution network of the 600UK group, was quickly implemented and launched. After less than two years of activity, the English industrial group withdrew from further investments in Fabryka Maszyn Tarnów, and the new owner of FMT was the German company GDW, which in turn continued production of mainly products for its markets, among others. lathes LZ 360, LZ400 and the license 600UK lathe T170, T200, T230, T280. In mid-2013, the company's bankruptcy was announced.

The company was bought by a Polish investor and currently operates under the name Fabryka Maszyn "Tarnów" Łukasz Świderski & Józef Świderski sc

The main goal of the company is the desire to rebuild and continue the domestic production of machine tools based on construction and technological documentation and the acquired machine park.
