The company Centrum Medyczne "Eko-Prof-Med" was established in 1998. The scope of medical services provided in the clinic is basic health care as well as outpatient specialist care in the field of: allergology, general surgery, pediatric surgery (the only counseling in the Tarnogórski district treating under the NFZ contract), treatment of metabolic diseases, dermatology, gynecology and obstetrics, cardiology with echocardiography, laryngology, speech therapy, treatment of postural defects, neurology, ophthalmology, oncology, orthopedics and traumatology of movement, urology. The facility also provides other medical services: psychiatric care and addiction treatment in adults, medical rehabilitation care, outpatient physiotherapy (NEW Kinesiology taping and local cryotherapy), dentistry, occupational medicine, sports medicine, aesthetic medicine, laboratory and toxicological diagnostics (certified markings m. in lead and cadmium in the blood) diagnostics - X-ray, ultrasound, UKG, audiometry, tymphanometry, podoscopy. Eko-Prof-Med also runs a birth school (free practical and audiovisual classes) and an ecological clinic (research on children exposed to heavy metals in the field and counteracting environmental threats). In the gymnasium that is open at the beginning of 2011 there are corrective exercises and slimming exercises for women, men and children. The facility also treats flat feet in children and adults (after the podoscopic examination of feet, it adapts special orthopedic insoles). To improve communication with patients, a modern digital exchange has been installed (direct connection with the majority of outpatient clinics). Currently, Eko-Prof-Med is fully adapted for people with disabilities. It has a driveway and an elevator. The building of the Medical Center, both inside and outside, is monitored. A large, lit car park accommodates 50 cars. A pharmacy and an optician's office are located in the clinic building.
