CELMA's history dates back to 1934, when the Machine Factory, the Iron and Metal Foundry was established. The factory produced drills and hand-operated grinders, field forges, mortars, weights, etc. The development of the company took place after the Second World War. In 1954, the production of craft tools was started: pliers, keys and others. The first electric drills produced in December 1959. In 1973, a license agreement was signed with Bosch and Holz-Her for the production of modern power tools. Cooperation with Bosch lasted until 1981, ie until the contract expired. At that time, a production hall equipped with rotor production lines, assembly lines as well as special machines was built in the Goleszów plant. In 2012, CELMA SA implementing the program of continuous improvement of customer satisfaction on the path of its development, created within its structures a new commercial company Fabryka Elektronarzędzi CELMA SA A new entity for the convenience of customers was located in central Poland in Lodz.

The reorganization of trade structures has been carried out to modernize existing sales channels, and above all a wider opportunity to expand the range and implement them on domestic and foreign markets. In 2010, the CELMA Capital Group was established. The separation of the following subsidiaries from the parent company: CELMA POWER TOOLS, CELMA MOTORS and CELMA METAL was aimed at sharing the competences within the Group's companies and optimizing business processes.

The remaining companies of the CELMA capital group together with production plants are located in Goleszów and are still performing their current tasks.
