CATERMED Sp. z o. o. started operating in March 2001 - offering professional services in the field of nutrition. Catermed operates in the area of ​​Southern Poland (Małopolskie, Śląskie, Opolskie, Świętokrzyskie and Podkarpackie voivodeships) and conducts the following activities:

• Production of all-day meals for patients and staff of health care units and educational institutions.
• Comprehensive nutrition service - running restaurants, cafeterias and staff canteens in Health Protection Teams.
• Concession catering - organization of occasional parties, banquets, conferences, orders for companies and individuals.

The basic activity of the company, i.e. the provision of nutritional services for patients, is associated with the employment of qualified food cadres. Preparing meals requires planning detailed menus according to the diets used in a given hospital in accordance with the principles of dietetics. To meet the requirements of its customers and professionally perform services CATERMED employees:

• They plan detailed menus according to the standards of the Institute of Food and Nutrition
• They watch over the proper production
• They supervise all of the work performed by branch managers
• They constantly vary the menu to suit the needs of the customer
• They provide professional service for the ceremony

An additional very important condition in running a company is the implementation of the HACCP system (Act of 11.05.2001 on health conditions of food and nutrition, Journal of Laws No. 63, item 634 with subsequent amendments). Regulations regarding the introduction of the HACCP system principles and materials and articles intended for contact with food are carried out by the Sanitary Inspection authorities.
