Forge Ostrów Wielkopolski is a leading Polish manufacturer of die forgings and parts for the railway industry. The company also manufactures forged forgings and die forgings for other industries such as machinery, shipbuilding, automotive, mining, agriculture and hydraulics.

 The customers of KOW products are mainly Polish companies, as well as European customers, including Germany, Slovakia, Turkey and Belgium.

The company has a production plant and warehouse located in western Poland. The production is based entirely on its own resources using long-term forge traditions.

The activity is carried out on a 3.8 ha plot, at which KOW has an additional plot of land with an area of 2 ha on which it is possible to expand the production capacity.

The scope of production Kuźnia Ostrów Wielkopolski Sp. z oo allows you to perform:

die-cutlets weighing from 0.03 kg to 40.0 kg

-forged forged shells weighing up to 1 000 kg

- thermal treatment (normalization, thermal improvement, softening, saturation)

-sliced

- machining on CNC machines

-Strength tests

-welding

- anti-corrosion protection

The owned technological lines and machine park enable full implementation of the production of products and no need to use the services of external subcontractors.

The own tool shop fully satisfies the needs related to the preparation and servicing of production line operating elements. In addition, a qualified maintenance department is responsible for ensuring the continuity of production.

 Own technology and construction office developing plans and complete technical documentation of the instrumentation and products using 3D CAD / CAM programs based on preset functionalities, as well as quality and technological requirements.

 The production is carried out with the observance of processes and principles of maintaining quality in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000.
