The Women's Foundation of the Płock Region is the organizer of the Congress of Women of the Płock Region, which takes place in Płock once a year. The initiation of actions aimed at improving the situation of women in the Płock region is the main idea of ​​the Congresses that we organize. These meetings are a kind of forum for diagnosing the situation of women in the city and region. We undertake to popularize activities, initiatives and knowledge in the field of good practices of women's social activity. We create a platform for the exchange of information and experiences of people and institutions interested in cooperation for women. Congresses are organized on the initiative of the plenipotentiary of the Congress of Women of the Płock Region, Iwona Wierzbicka and the Foundation of Women of the Płock Region in partnership with many non-governmental organizations, including the nationwide Congress of Women Association as well as local entrepreneurs and institutions. The Foundation brings together a group of active women interested in running their own business and social initiatives. It deals with the organization of meetings, trainings and project implementation, but the statutory statutory goal is to promote and promote the idea of ​​equal treatment of women and men - equal opportunities in life and social in the local, regional and national environment. We strive to support in our activities the nationwide social movement which is the Congress of Women, striving to create a civic society in which women form a significant group that is genuinely involved in the pro-civic social and economic activities. In the last four years, Płocczanki have actively participated in women's Congresses held every year in Warsaw. The feminine social movement currently intensively developing in Poland favors regional initiatives. He also met with great interest of Płocczanki. Proof of appreciation and many expressions of sympathy have led us to realize the idea of ​​mutual support for women in the region with the help of non-governmental organizations from all over Poland.
