HEICO Poland Sp. z o. o. was founded in early 2013 by the German company Heico International GmbH belonging to the group Theo Heimann Holding GmbH. The company represents the interests of its owner by providing representative, technical and commercial services to clients in Poland and Eastern Europe. The product of the company are HEICO-LOCK wedging washers securing screw connections against self-loosening. The essence of their operation is the use of the increase in the force tensioning the bolt based on the wedge effect, which makes the screw or nut striving to loosen itself tightens. It guarantees that the screw connection will not loosen itself automatically and ensures a permanent maintenance of a high, controlled value of the clamping force in the joint and full use of the screw's potential without the risk of damaging it. HEICO-LOCK washers are mainly used for screw connections exposed to dynamic forces, shocks and vibrations, which significantly contributes to the increase in the safety of machines and devices, and reduces the costs of servicing, servicing and repairing them. The HEICO-LOCK wedging washers manufactured in Germany for over 4 years are widely known and used throughout the world as a fully competitive product on a previously monopolized market. They are widely used, among others by the German railways DB and the French SNCF.
